Tewari De-Ox Systems secures PURCHASE ORDER/PO for deployment of 2 million units of its patented Zero-OxTech components in US plants.

Tewari De-Ox Systems Announces Commercial Zero-OxTech Deployment with Riz Global Foods for Future Retail Case-Ready Beef Programs As the North American meat industry continues to evolve toward centralized production, retail-ready merchandising, and longer-distance refrigerated distribution, Riz Global Foods and Gridley Meat Products are positioning themselves for the next generation of premium fresh protein supply chains. Tewari De-Ox Systems announced today that Riz Global Foods has issued a purchase order for 2 million units each of Zero-OxTech films and oxygen-control sachets for deployment across USDA meat processing operations in the United States. The deployment forms part of Riz Global Foods’ broader strategy to expand into premium retail case-ready beef programs, including chilled halal beef cuts, burgers, patties, and value-added fresh meat applications designed for retail and foodservice markets across North America and future export channels. The initiative comes at a time when retailers and processors continue to face mounting operational pressures, including limited refrigerated shelf life, retail shrink, labor shortages, freight volatility, and the growing complexity of managing fresh meat inventories across large distribution networks. Through its U.S. processing platform at Gridley Meat Products, Riz Global Foods is investing in technologies and infrastructure designed to support modern retail-ready protein systems focused on improved cold-chain performance, product consistency, centralized production efficiencies, and scalable distribution capabilities. According to Tewari De-Ox Systems, Zero-OxTech has demonstrated the potential to achieve refrigerated shelf life of up to 120 days under controlled conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on processing conditions, packaging systems, product type, and cold-chain management. Riz Global Foods is also evaluating the technology for imported chilled beef programs, including premium Australian beef distributed into the United States under refrigerated conditions. The company believes longer refrigerated shelf life could help improve inventory flexibility, support ocean freight logistics, and create new opportunities for premium chilled beef distribution across North America. “Consumers increasingly want premium fresh beef with consistency, quality, convenience, and availability,” said Syed Ali, President of Riz Global Foods. “At the same time, retailers and processors are under pressure to reduce waste and operate more efficiently. We believe the future of fresh protein will depend on smarter case-ready systems, stronger cold-chain infrastructure, and technologies that support longer refrigerated shelf life responsibly.” Gridley Meat Products continues to expand its focus on value-added meat processing, retail-ready beef programs, halal protein systems, burgers, patties, and future fresh protein innovation as part of Riz Global Foods’ long-term North American growth strategy. Initial deployment activities are expected to begin in late 2026.
