Zero-OxTech® significantly outperformed conventional packaging solutions for retail-ready meat cuts such as Sealedair® and Multivac®

In side-by-side testing, beef and pork packaged with conventional systems showed spoilage within 30 days, leading to early test termination for food safety reasons. Zero-OxTech® shattered the limits of conventional pathogen modeling

USDA pathogen models predicted spoilage within 10 days, yet Zero-OxTech® maintained microbial stability in retail-ready beef cuts for 120 days. This unprecedented performance exceeded existing models, signaling a breakthrough in shelf-life preservation.

Zero-OxTech® delivered a rare outcome in food preservation

Zero-OxTech® extended the shelf life of retail-ready meat cuts packaged in conventional PVC overwrap using a mother-bag system. Products achieved 4+ weeks of protected storage and an additional 7+ days on the retail shelf, while control samples deteriorated within the first week. This enables retailers to shift from in-store butchery to centralized packing without sacrificing freshness or presentation.
